Hi,

Here at 555 Timer Circuits we use Circuit Wizard (link to pro or educational version) to lay out the schematics. It's a fantastic piece of software.

What software do you use to design your own circuits?

Been using Workbench for a long time but have to learn simulation (not just design) so I got P-SPICE (student version). I don't seem to understand the different types of analysis (DC, Transcient, etc) that it can perform and how I can use it. I'll be grateful for any help you can offer.

I have used the demo of that software and just love it!!! The problem is that in the states it costs around $250 while over in the UK it is $150 I believe. I asked them if they could send it to the states and they wont. I have a programming buddy that lives in the UK I might ask to get it and send it to me or just bite the bullet and pay the $250. Do you know any other options?
