I currently wish to build your 555 metal detector circuit found here:
http://www.555-timer-circuits.com/metal-detector.html
However, I have all the parts necessary to complete the circuit, but when I put it on a breadboard it does not work. Does anyone have a video that I could watch for the building of? Or perhaps a high definition picture for what the circuit should look like? Even a scanned image of a breadboard layout would be nice as well.

I hope that Phil (Admin) could make an official video on the 555timercircuits channel on YouTube.
