I need help with building a impact shooting targets for a shooting gallery. I would be shooting paintless paintballs at these target and would like to be able to have the targets set off a siren or lights and have a hit counter in large led form.
How much does your hardballs weigh?
How fast do they travel (muzzle velocity)?
At what distance do you shoot?
How large do you need the targets to be?
I've done GOLF ball detection years back, but those targets wouldn't be too impressed with a hardball I'm sure, so you need to answer the above questions to get a ballpark figure of the impact magnitude and what size target to receive it.
That's for the sensor needed, the rest is easy.
