Ok, so just got the whole thing working (thanks to Konrad's post) and I found that it can only make one sound at a time. The only way to change to the next sound is to power off and power on again with the battery cables or hook it up to a switch. Is it meant to do this?

Isn't this wrong? The orange wire coming out of pin 5 from the right 555 timer connects into slot 31, which is connected to nothing. And that layout of the resistors, where are they connecting to? Also, with that layout, the resistors go into one after the other, doesn't that mean pin 1 of the...
