hello every body, can somebody plz tell me how to calculate the detection limitation of the circuit? (i.e: area inwhich it will detect?)

hello every body! could plz someone tell me what to do, i've implemented this circuit but it generate a sound even when there is no metal material to be detected... but when i approach a magnet or metal material it changes the sound! plz someone to advise me what to do so that the occurred noise...
