I have been in the Electronic/Electrical field for nearly 30 years now, I guess I'm getting old. I was an Industrial Electrician from about 1987 - 1997. In 1997 at the age of 31 I decided to join the U.S. Navy. I was an Aviation Electrician working on the P-3 Orion stationed in Brunswick Maine for my first tour. When I left Maine I went to Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville Florida where I worked on the new C40 Clipper (Boeing 737-700) until I got out after 10 years of service in 2007. In 2008 I was hired on with CSX Transportation (Class 1 Railroad) as an assistant signal maintainer in Rochester New York (My home town area). After 10 months I bid an Electronic Signal Specialist position in the Albany NY. area and still hold that position today but now in the warm south. I am getting too old for that nasty white stuff that falls from the sky for 6 months out of the year.

I hope to learn some new stuff around here as well as share my knowledge with all of you.
