I'm looking to build a small circuit using a 555 IC that will switch a relay. The idea behind the circuit is to connect it to a cellphone which have been modified to phone when an alarm goes off. Unfortunately I cant get the older cellphone models and therefore had to settle for one that goes into sleep mode (which I cant deactivate).
So, what I would like to do is have the relay to make contact to deactivate the sleep mode and then when connecting the second time, be able to dial. Each time the relay closes, it must stay closed for 2 seconds before opening up again, meaning that I only require a low frequency.
Can anyone help with a suitable circuit with component values?
